  I was informally referred to ARH by a local day-care/boarding kennel, not by my regular vet. With my dog scheduled for surgery the following day and having some concerns about the procedure, staff at the doggy day-care suggested that I call ARH to see what other options might exist. After calling ARH, I was initially told that I would need a referral by the receptionist but after explaining the situation, that the surgery was scheduled for the following day, she said that she would try to find a vet for me to have a quick chat with (this was after business hours). I then spoke with Jacob for approximately 15 minutes about the procedure my dog was due to go under and what had lead to that decision by my regular vet; he was very accommodating and thorough in his questions, despite my simply calling the ARH for a “quick chat”. Following this experience, I can’t recomend ARH and specifically Jacob enough. I’m extremely grateful to their advice. Special thanks to the receptionist who could have simply scheduled me in for a consultation.
